LOS ANGELES – Overshadowed by the late-game heroics of Patty Mills and Manu Ginobili in the Spurs’ come-from-behind 102-100 win over the Rockets on Tuesday was a strong outing by shooting guard Danny Green.
In 34 minutes, Green scored 12 points on 4 of 8 shooting from 3-point range, including going a perfect 2-for-2 in the fourth period.
Green’s outing in Houston was a far cry from this time last year when he was struggling to find his shot.
In December last season, Green hit just 26.8 percent (15 of 56) of his 3-point attempts. For December games this season through Tuesday, he’s shooting 44.
