Spurs got big defensive efforts in Oklahoma City from Leonard, Aldridge

OKLAHOMA CITY – The Spurs got big defensive efforts in their 100-95 come-from-behind win over Oklahoma City from Kawhi Leonard and LaMarcus Aldridge.

Leonard finished with three steals and two blocks, while Aldridge posted three blocks.

Leonard ranks seventh in the league with 1.8 steals per game.

“His steals are really good because it’s usually on the ball,” Spurs coach Gregg Popovich said. “It’s not breaking away from defense from a scheme and playing centerfield or anything like that. He is on his guy and takes great pride in making the steal and getting a blocked shot.
