The Spurs have announced two new additions to the coaching staff, as well as additions and promotions to the basketball operations department. Most notably, Mitch Johnson, previously an assistant coach for the Austin Spurs, has been promoted to assistant coach in San Antonio, and Darius Songalia has been promoted from the video department to player development assistant.
