SAN ANTONIO – Spurs coach Gregg Popovich said power forward LaMarcus Aldridge will undergo further testing Monday to determine the cause of the minor heart arrhythmia he suffered during Thursday’s game at Oklahoma City.
“They are doing some tests,” Popovich said before Saturday’s game against the Golden State Warriors. “They did some tests today and they are going to continue it on Monday. He is going to see some people on Monday and based on what they do and see, we’ll know better what we are really looking at. But we don’t know right now.”
The Spurs announced Saturday morning that Aldridge will be sidelined indefinitely after Popovich said the Texas-ex started feeling “something odd” in Oklahoma City.
