NEW ORLEANS — The NBA announces the reserves for this year’s All-Star team tonight at 7 p.m. Somewhere in New Orleans — coincidentally the site of this year’s midseason classic — Spurs forward LaMarcus Aldridge admits he will be watching.
The Spurs are in the Big Easy with a night off before facing the Pelicans on Friday. It is here Aldridge will learn the fate of his All-Star streak, which is at five consecutive seasons and counting.
“Of course I’d like to make it, but if I don’t I’m not going to be mad,” Aldridge said after practice this afternoon.
