Yesterday we spoke about Pop’s legacy being cemented with a twenty-six win season. Knowing that those sorts of tallies are meaningless to Gregg Popovich only means he could walk away without caring. It’s also been mentioned that his legacy will take a hit if he mans the sideline and the Spurs miss an unprecedented third postseason.

And here’s the bigger question? Who do the Spurs hire for the 2021-2022 season as the head coach if Pop is indeed retiring from coaching?
