The Spurs are bracing for news that Tony Parker could be done for the playoffs.
The venerable Spurs point guard is suspected to need season-ending surgery after suffering a left leg injury late in Wednesday’s victory over Houston in Game 2 of the Western Conference semifinals, league sources said.
Parker was scheduled for an MRI this morning. The Spurs are expected to announce the results and a prognosis later today.
It is a tough blow to the Spurs, who evened up their series with the Rockets at a game apiece with a 121-96 shellacking and now must head to Game 3 in Houston without their floor leader.
