The Celtics hit everything early, and ran out to a 14 point lead with two minutes left in the first quarter. From there the Spurs started to crawl back into it, using a 12-0 run in the middle of the second quarter and taking advantage of a Boston scoring drought that lasted nearly six minutes.
From there, it was a back and forth affair, with neither team able to shake the other. Kawhi Leonard had a good afternoon (ending with 25, 10, 4, 2 but no steals) and Danny Green was feeling it from deep (3-4 for 11 points) but the rest of the starters struggled, shooting 7-24 with 4 turnovers.
