The San Antonio Spurs wrapped up preseason play at home last night, losing to the Magic 103-98. LaMarcus Aldridge once again led the team in scoring with 16 points, while Dejounte Murray added 15. The Spurs’ biggest contributor off the bench was newcomer Rudy Gay.
Gay played 20 minutes and scored 13 points. He shot 50 percent from the floor, had 4 assists and grabbed 7 rebounds. He also stole the ball once and made a three-pointer. Not bad for a player coming off of a serious injury.
When the Spurs signed Gay this offseason, some were skeptical about his health going into this year.
