The San Antonio Spurs welcomed DeMar DeRozan into the fold this summer, with the acquisition of him, Jakob Poeltl and a protected 2019 first-round pick from the Toronto Raptors for Kawhi Leonard and Danny Green. It’s the first time DeRozan changed teams in his nine-year career, but the city of San Antonio have welcomed him with open arms.
At Rudy’s Seafood in San Antonio, TX, a mural of DeRozan was added to the group of Spurs already in place. According to MySanAntonio.com, it started with Manu Ginobili in March and continued into the summer, with the addition of George Gervin in the same timeframe as DeRozan.
