HOUSTON – Down 2-1 in their best-of-seven second-round playoff series with the Spurs after losing two in a row, the Rockets are calling Sunday night’s Game 4 a must-win affair.
“Realistically, this is it,” Houston coach Mike D’Antoni said. “This is the big game, tonight.”
Meeting with reporters after the morning shootaround at the Toyota Center, D’Antoni was asked if he told his players the game was a must-win outing.
“If they don’t know, we’re obviously going into battle with the wrong guys,” D’Antoni said. “They know how important it is.”
Rockets guard Eric Gordon said the players know the score.
