According to ESPN Senior NBA Writer Brian Windhorst, San Antonio Spurs assistant coach Will Hardy is an under the radar candidate to become the next head coach of the Oklahoma City Thunder.
ESPN Senior NBA Insider Adrian Wojnarowski also named Hardy and fellow San Antonio assistant coach Becky Hammon as potential head coach candidates for the Indiana Pacers earlier this September.
The 32-year-old assistant formally interviewed with the New York Knicks to fill their head coaching vacancy in June before the Eastern Conference franchise hired 2011 Coach of the Year Tom Thibodeau.
