Head coach Matt Nielsen says Quinndary Weatherspoon will play with the Austin Spurs on Saturday in their regular-season finale versus the G League Ignite.
The second-year guard arrived in Orlando on Tuesday morning after San Antonio assigned him to the G League earlier that same day.
Weatherspoon has now cleared the mandatory 48-hour quarantine period and can officially partake in team activities such as games and practices.
Weatherspoon has only participated in five contests this season after undergoing knee surgery in the offseason and was one of five players sidelined by health and safety protocols in February following four positive COVID-19 tests within the organization.
