Midway in the second quarter of Tuesday’s game against the Toronto Raptors, Dewayne Dedmon finished a possession with a reverse layup. Moments later, Tony Parker tripped as he took the ball behind his back on a fastbreak, but regained his balance to complete a pass to a wide open Kawhi Leonard who nailed a corner 3-pointer increasing the Spurs’ lead to 19.
It was that type of night for the home team. The ball was moving (32 assists), shots were falling (55.1 percent), and the Spurs sent the Raptors packing after a 110-82 victory at AT&T Center.
“They came out and just out worked us, outplayed us,” said Raptors guard Kyle Lowry, who was held to a season-low six points.
