Postgame Wrap: Spurs ride Aldridge; beat Blazers to close road trip

PORTLAND, Ore. – LaMarcus Aldridge was well aware of the reception fans in Portland would display on Friday night. Supporters in attendance at Moda Center booed early and often.

Aldridge didn’t show jitters this time around, though. He took advantage of Gregg Popovich featuring him all game, finished with 18 points, 14 rebounds and a team-high six assists to help the Spurs beat the Blazers, 110-90.

“It got to me last year,” said Aldridge of the booing. “But this year, I kind of embraced it and had fun with it. … It gets me going, so I don’t mind it.
