Postgame Wrap: Spurs record season-high 134 points; beat Lakers

Just days ago, Manu Ginobili expressed his disapproval after the Spurs allowed the Milwaukee Bucks to steal a game on their home floor at AT&T Center.

The Spurs led the Bucks for most of the game, but didn’t finish the first half properly, giving their opponent confidence and momentum. That wouldn’t be the case Thursday night.

The Spurs scored a season-high 72 points in the first half, shot a season-best 60.5 percent from the field, and had no problem beating the Los Angeles Lakers, 134-94.

“We wanted to put our foot on the gas,” said Danny Green, “not let them get any light, any momentum.
