Gregg Popovich called Tony Parker’s number, and the longtime Spurs guard answered just in time.
Parker scored 10 of his 16 points in the fourth quarter to help the Spurs finish off the Boston Celtics, 108-101, Wednesday night at AT&T Center.
“Pick and roll, and he put me in situations to be aggressive for my teardrop, and then penetrating,” said Parker, who added a team-high seven assists. “It was just one of those situations.”
Kawhi Leonard scored a game-high 26 points, while Pau Gasol finished with a double-double (17 points and 13 rebounds).
The Spurs improved to 7-4 at home this season.
