Postgame Wrap: Spurs fall to Celtics in Murray’s debut

SALT LAKE CITY – The Spurs wrapped up their Utah Summer League stint at the Jon. M Huntsman Center on Thursday falling to the Boston Celtics, 87-86.

Kyle Anderson finished strong with a game-high 23 points and 10 rebounds. Jonathon Simmons struggled from the field going 4 of 14 for 13 points.

Rookie Dejounte Murray made an impression in his summer league debut, recording 21 points and five rebounds in 24 minutes.

The Spurs finished with a 2-1 record in Utah.

The warmup: Murray said he wouldn’t press too much in the first game.
