CHICAGO – Tony Parker had no answers why the Spurs have failed to consistently play a 48-minute basketball game.
“I don’t know what’s going on,” said Parker. “It’s been almost the whole season. I don’t know why we have slow starts.”
The Spurs’ latest slow start came on Thursday in Chicago, as they scored a season-low 32 points in the first half, never fully recovered, and eventually dropped their first road game of the season in a 95-91 loss to the Bulls.
Kawhi Leonard led all scorers with 24 points, Pau Gasol recorded a double-double (13 points, 10 rebounds) in his return to Chicago, and Patty Mills added 16 points off the bench.
