Postgame Wrap: Spurs beat Wizards; remain perfect on the road

WASHINGTON – After missing the Thanksgiving holiday in San Antonio, Gregg Popovich admitted he was ready to return home following a three-game road trip that ended at the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C. Saturday night.

“I don’t want to play at home,” added a smiling Popovich, acknowledging the 4-3 record at AT&T Center.

The Spurs may have trouble in front of the home crowd, but on the road they are a perfect 10-0 after beating the Wizards, 112-100, sweeping their three-game road trip.

LaMarcus Aldridge scored a team-high 24 points on 9-of-17 shooting, while Kawhi Leonard added 19 points, five assists and three steals.
