Postgame Wrap: Leonard’s double-double help Spurs defeat Heat

Kawhi Leonard finished with a team-high 24 points and 12 rebounds, LaMarcus Aldridge added 18 points and Pau Gasol 12 to help the Spurs defeat the Miami Heat, 94-90, on Monday at AT&T Center.

The Spurs shot 53.3 percent (8-of-15) from beyond the arc, outrebounded the Heat, 53-42, including 15 offensive rebounds, and finished with 24 assists in the win.

A better start: Aldridge didn’t let a bad shooting night in Houston carry over. He converted his first field goal attempt, and then a 12-foot shot to give the Spurs a 12-8 lead early in the first quarter.
