Postgame Wrap: Ginobili’s ‘terrible’ game-winner falls short; Bucks beat Spurs

Jason Kidd had no doubt Manu Ginobili would be the hero once again.

With the Spurs trailing by two, six seconds remaining in regulation, Kawhi Leonard drove to the basket and found a wide open Ginobili in the corner for a game-winning 3-pointer.

“I thought it was goodnight,” said Kidd. “I thought he was going to make it to be honest with you. I’ve seen that too many times in his career when he has a wide open shot with no one around him.”

Ginobili wouldn’t come through this time, though, missing the basket as the Spurs fell to the Bucks, 109-107, Tuesday night at AT&T Center.
