SAN ANTONIO – The Spurs and Rockets will play every other day from Game 1 Monday night through, if needed, Game 6 on May 11.
It’s a schedule that seemingly would be more daunting for the Spurs, who sport thirtysomethings Manu Ginobili (39), Pau Gasol (36), Tony Parker (34), David Lee (34), Joel Anthony (34) and LaMarcus Aldridge (31).
But Lee, who had a birthday April 29, said he actually embraces the every-other-day aspect of the series.
“I think it gets a little trickier when you do have days off mixed in there, when you do have two or three days in between,” Lee said.
