On Saturday, San Antonio Parks and Recreation Department in partnership with the District 8 City Council office celebrated the connection of over 86 miles of biking trails connecting the Salado Creek and Leon Creek greenway trails.
The event, free to the public, included a ribbon-cutting ceremony featuring Mayor Ron Nirenberg, District 8 Council Member Manny Peláez, Parks and Recreation Director Homer Garcia III, interim Arts and Culture Director Krystal Jones, and San Antonio Spurs legend Manu Ginobili.
