The Spurs rookies have been doing a lot of traveling up and down IH-35 between San Antonio and Austin lately, juggling time between the NBA and the G-League. After observing their team’s thrilling 111-105 victory over the Golden State Warriors on Monday, Lonnie Walker IV, Chimezie Metu, and Drew Eubanks headed back to Austin for a Tuesday match-up against the Texas Legends.
Perhaps pumped up from all the excitement lately, Walker led the way with a team-high 23 points in the 121-117 Austin win, including an impressive alley-oop dunk.
