NEW ORLEANS – Spurs All-Star forward Kawhi Leonard doesn’t believe the Spurs should make a move before Thursday’s NBA trade deadline.
“I think we’re doing good right now,” Leonard said. “It’s all about team chemistry. You’ve always got to figure out the best way for you and your team, but I think we’re doing a good right now.”
The Spurs are 43-13. Only Golden State at 47-9 has a better record.
Still, there have been questions about the Spurs’ confounding inability to consistently sustain a strong effort for four quarters.
“You can talk to the front office and see what they’re doing, but right now, I feel like we’re doing good,” Leonard said.
