Once again Kawhi Leonard is receiving praise for his defensive efforts.
The Spurs All-Star forward was named to the All-Defensive First Team on Monday, the NBA announced. It’s the third consultative season Leonard has been named to the first team.
Danny Green also received praise, as he was selected to his first team — All-Defensive Second Team — becoming eighth player in franchise history to be named to a defensive team.
Green joins Leonard, George Johnson, Alvin Robertson, David Robinson, Dennis Rodman, Tim Duncan, and Bruce Bowen as the only players in Spurs history to be selected to a defensive team.
