With NBA training camp set to begin on September 30, some of the Spurs’ younger players have already begun to arrive back in San Antonio to get a head start on what they’re hoping will be a long season:
The young guys have been joined by All Star veteran teammate and consummate pro LaMarcus Aldridge. It’s hard to believe that Aldridge is set to begin his 5th season in Silver and Black. At the age of 34 and entering his 14th season in the league, Aldridge’s role on the court has been that of a stabilizer, especially for the group of young guys that the Spurs have been rolling out in recent seasons.
