Kawhi Leonard says that playing against James Harden brings out the best in him. That could be bad news for Houston.

“Definitely, especially if I’m guarding him,” Leonard said at Spurs practice Saturday. “It’s going to take my all to try to make it difficult for him out there.”

When the Spurs play the Houston Rockets in their second-round playoff series, which begins on Monday in San Antonio, all eyes will be on two of the top MVP contenders battling it out.

Leonard averaged 31.2 points in the Spurs’ first-round series against Memphis, scoring a postseason career-high 43 points in Game 4.
