Last night’s game was a bitter pill to swallow.
At one point in the first quarter, the Spurs were up 15-0. At another point during the first quarter, the Spurs had a commanding 22-point lead. At the end of the first quarter, the Spurs were leading the Warriors, 33-17.
Then, the Spurs collapsed.
They gave up 37 points in the second quarter, and headed into halftime with just a four point-lead (58-54). The Spurs gave up another 30 points in the third quarter, and were never able to regain the lead. The Warriors had taken the life out of the AT&T Center, without Kevin Durant.
