The 2021 San Antonio Spurs are unlike anything fans have seen in the 2-1-0 over the last two decades. Despite basement-level expectations, with a much-needed youth movement and new faces all around, this group is going to be a breath of fresh air for the Alamo City.
While some may need time to embrace the new reality that San Antonio is playing the long game with their collection of young talent, that doesn’t mean perennial failures and lackluster outings will become commonplace at the AT&T Center.
Although head coach Gregg Popovich openly admitted San Antonio lacks a superstar at Media Day, they did their best to build around their strengths.
