Despite home woes, Spurs’ perfect road record shows teams potential

After Wednesday night’s 94-87 win against the Dallas Mavericks, the San Antonio Spurs remain undefeated on the road.

The Spurs currently sit second in the Western Conference with their 15-4 record, a game and a half behind the Golden State Warriors. While a perfect road record is definitely something to be proud of, the 5-time champion Spurs can’t seem to get into a groove at home.

The silver and black have performed better in every category except defensive rebounding on the road as opposed to playing at home. The Spurs average 15.8 more points in road games compared to at home, which might leave their fans struggling to comprehend how a team that nearly went undefeated at home last year (40-1), has already lost four games in just the first month of play.
