The San Antonio Spurs have made headlines all summer, whether it’s from the huge signing of LaMarcus Aldridge or for the resigning of their current players. An acquisition that went under the radar is David West. Everyone knows who West is and what he can do, but with Aldridge heading to San Antonio, it wasn’t seen as a “big deal”.
Well it is a big deal. West was a two-time NBA All-Star in 2008-09. The 34-year old big isn’t the same player he was in those seasons, but he is still a quality power forward.
