HOUSTON – Coach Mike D’Antoni and the Rockets aren’t overly concerned with the Spurs employing Kawhi Leonard as the primary defender against James Harden, who missed 14 of 17 shots en route to just 13 points in Game 2 of the West semifinals.
The same is true of their view of the Spurs using 7-foot Pau Gasol to defend the rim.
“I’m not concerned about James Harden,” D’Antoni said. “He’s the least of my problems.”
What does worry D’Antoni is the fact the Spurs limited the Rockets’ number of transition points in winning Game 2, 121-96.
