SAN ANTONIO – Coaches can find flaws in even the greatest of performances, and Houston’s Mike D’Antoni is no exception.
The Rockets humiliated the Spurs 126-99 Monday night in Game 1 of the Western Conference semifinals after leading by as many as 39 points in the fourth quarter.
Still, D’Antoni found something in that outing he didn’t like.
“We missed 28 3s. We don’t want to do that,” he said with a straight face Wednesday at the team’s morning shootaround at the AT&T Center.
When reporters laughed, D’Antoni replied, “It depends on how you look at it.
