SAN ANTONIO – Tim Duncan made his playoff debut at the Spurs morning shootaround Monday, working out with the team and cracking jokes with his former teammates.
“It’s always good to see Timmy here,” Spurs guard Danny Green said. “You could say he lightened the mood.”
Spurs guard Patty Mills agreed with that assessment, saying Duncan was at practice to kid around rather than do any coaching.
“He’s just here to make fun of everyone,” Mills said. “He rubs it in. He looks all nice and relaxed over there, and we are stressing out about the game plan.
