SAN ANTONIO – Spurs power forward LaMarcus Aldridge will be sidelined indefinitely after an occurrence of minor heart arrhythmia, the Spurs announced Saturday morning.
“All parties have concluded that at the current time it is best for Aldridge to refrain from play until further tests and examinations are completed,” according to a statement provided by the team. “The Spurs will provide updates as appropriate.”
Aldridge is the Spurs’ second-leading scorer, averaging 17.3 points per game. He also averages 7.5 rebounds and 2.0 assists.
