From Dejounte Murray, Derrick White, and Lonnie Walker IV to Keldon Johnson, Devin Vassell, and Luka Samanic, the Spurs have gathered quite the collection of talent through the draft over the last half-decade. While San Antonio’s roster is home to several valuable assets, not a single member of their young core has made the colossal leap into NBA stardom, at least not yet.
And considering the Silver and Black are coming off a year in which they missed the playoffs in consecutive seasons for the first time in franchise history, something has to change if they want to reclaim their status as a Western Conference powerhouse.
