SAN ANTONIO – Spurs forward LaMarcus Aldridge took to social media Wednesday afternoon to thank those who supported him while he was sidelined with a heart ailment.
Aldridge is set to return to action Wednesday night against his former team, the Portland Trail Blazers, after the club announced he has been cleared to resume all basketball-related activities.
Aldridge had an occurrence of minor heart arrhythmia in Oklahoma City on March 9. After multiple tests and consultation with numerous experts by the club, the Spurs cleared him to return to action.
“Thank you to everyone for the prayers and support,” Aldridge said via Twitter.
