Delayed by an eye infection suffered by rising star Kawhi Leonard, the San Antonio Spurs finally shot the newest batch of commercials for H-E-B following practice on Monday.

Per Dan McCarney of MySanAntonio.com, "the Spurs typically shoot the popular spots during the postseason. But with Leonard, whose incorporation last season mirrors his on-court ascent, sidelined for roughly three weeks with a nasty case of pink eye, production was pushed into the regular season."

Despite the shoots usually taking all afternoon, creating a very long day after morning practice, Spurs players look forward to doing the commercials every single year.

“First you have fun shooting it,” said Manu Ginobili, a mainstay of the spots for several years. “Then you see the end product, and you feel proud of it. It’s a great job that they do with the scripts. They put us in a great spot to perform well and be funny, so it’s something we all really enjoy.”
