STANFORD, Calif. — Blazing fast times and top performances highlighted Saturday for both Saint Mary’s cross country teams, as the men and women each finished among the top-six and had individuals among the top-20.
MEN
The West Region’s No. 13-ranked team asserted itself Saturday with a strong showing against some of the nation’s best. Led by Gabe Arias’ fifth-place finish (fourth collegiate runner), the Gaels grabbed a fifth-place team finish, defeating the likes of host Stanford, Tulane, Fresno State and West Coast Conference rival Santa Clara.
“Break through races by Noah (McDermott), Mason (Labadie), Raymond (Boffman), Nolan (Dozier),” said Saint Mary’s head coach Marty Kinsey of the men’s performance.
