MORAGA, Calif. — The Saint Mary’s men’s and women’s cross country teams were both named All-Academic teams by the U.S. Track and Field and Cross County Coaches Association Friday after posting grade point averages above 3.2.
The women’s team earned a 3.40 GPA in the fall, while the men posted a GPA of 3.26, improving over the 3.108 earned during the fall of 2015. Both teams were able to capture West Coast Conference All-Academic honors as well, with sophomore Abby Bolt leading the way with a 3.97 in biology. Ali Teliha rounded out the women’s nominees with a 3.
