SAN DIEGO — Facing some of their toughest competition of the year, both the Saint Mary’s men’s and women’s cross country teams posted solid performances Friday at the 2016 West Coast Conference Championships at Tecolote Shores Park, with the men matching last year’s finish and the women moving up one spot.
The men finished fifth in the conference championship race while the women finished seventh, beating out conference rivals such as Loyola Marymount and Pepperdine in the men’s race and Santa Clara and Pacific in the women’s.
