SAN FRANCISCO — It was a winning day Thursday for both the Saint Mary’s cross country teams, as the men and women both earned team and individual titles at the Speedway Duals at Golden Gate Park’s Speedway Meadow.
Both programs defeated West Coast Conference rival Santa Clara for the second meet in a row while also beating Sacramento State. Gabe Arias took his first victory of the season, winning the men’s 7.25-kilometer race in 22 minutes, 41 seconds. Abby Bolt also won for the first time this season, winning the women’s 5.8 km race in 21:59.
