MORAGA, Calif. — The Saint Mary’s men’s and women’s cross country teams return to competition Saturday after a week off to participate in the Bronco Invitational, hosted by Santa Clara at Baylands Park in Sunnyvale.
Races begin at 9 a.m. with the men’s 8-kilometer invitational. The Gaels will face some of the top teams in the West Region including California, San Jose State, UCLA and UNLV. They will face West Coast Conference foes Loyola Marymount, Pepperdine, San Diego and host Santa Clara. Texas Tech (ranked No. 10 in the Mountain Region men’s rankings) and Texas-San Antonio will also be in attendance.
