RIVERSIDE, Calif. — Saint Mary's Women's Cross Country team wrapped up their morning at the UC Riverside Invitational, with six of the ten Gaels racing earning personal best times in the 6k. The Gaels finished in 17th in the field of 24 teams.
Senior Kaylee Barnes led the charge for the Gaels, opening her first 2k in 6:42.7 before surging through the field. By the time she reached the finish line, Barnes had shot past a total of 25 runners, earned her spot in the top 50 at 44th, and finished with a time of 21:13.
