MORAGA, Calif. — Visiting Portland picked up wins in three of the top four singles spots Saturday to clinch a 4-2 West Coast Conference victory over the Saint Mary’s women’s tennis team at the Tim Korth Tennis Complex.
Lucia Butkovska was victorious at No. 1 singles and doubles. She first teamed with Tori Troesch to top Saint Mary’s No. 1 doubles team of Jana McCord and Jamie Pawid, 6-3. Later, she defeated McCord again at No. 1 singles, 6-3, 6-1. Maja Mladenovic (No. 3) and Tatiana Grigoryan (No. 4) were also singles winners for the Pilots (7-12, 3-5 WCC).
