TEMPE, Ariz. – Mariia Kozyreva was named an Intercollegiate Tennis Association All American after her run to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Women's Singles Championships, and was also named a the ITA Senior Player of the Year for the Northwest Region.
The honors complete a season – and career – full of awards and acknowledgements of spectacular performances for the fifth-year Gael.
This season alone she was named to the All-WCC First Team in singles and doubles and finished the season ranked No. 31 in the country. Kozyreva made All-WCC First Team in singles and doubles every year as Gael except for her freshman year when she made All-WCC Second Team.
