MORAGA, Calif. — The Saint Mary’s women’s tennis team (4-5) won its second-straight match in an impressive 4-3 win over a very strong UC Davis squad Sunday afternoon at Timothy Korth Tennis Complex.
The Gaels started the day strong in doubles action. SMC claimed victories on courts 1 and 3 to go up, 1-0 early. In a changeup, the top duo was Jana McCord and Kareena Manji. The tandem continued to produce solid results, winning 6-2 for the first victory of the day.
Clementine Clement and Jacqueline Pelletier blanked their opponents, 6-0 to clinch the early advantage.
