SANTA CLARA, Calif. — Saint Mary’s reeled off their second consecutive conference win on Saturday with a 4-2 victory over Santa Clara (6-8, 1-3 WCC). The Gaels are off to a strong start in conference play this season with wins in three of their first four WCC matches.
“Another exciting, difficult college match,” said associate head coach Simon Harston after the victory. “The girls are finding ways to play tough in clutch moments.”
The Gaels (7-6, 3-1 WCC) picked up three singles’ wins against the Broncos thanks to strong play from Jacqueline Pelletier, Parminder Kaur, and Danielle McIntyre.
